Love for granddaughter and sewing creates new business.

Needing something to fill my free time since my daughters were now on their own, I found a renewed love for sewing. I started taking classes in quilt making and fell in love. After my beautiful granddaughter was born I was hooked on sewing baby items. I started just making bibs, burp cloths and taggie blankets for my mom to give as gifts to her great nieces and nephews who were expecting. When my daughters started asking for little things: a curling iron holder, a wet/dry bag (she had just gotten a job and would be doing a lot of traveling), reuseable items - snack bags, paper towels, I got excited. Both girls said "you should open an Etsy shop, there are people out there who would love these". So one night as I was sewing bibs and burp cloths and snack bags, I decided why not. I love what I am doing and if can help someone else fill a need that's what it's all about.

I wanted my shop to be something different, so I quickly decided that for every 10 items I sold I would donate a gift set to a local charity. Another decision I made was that I would only include items that I actually enjoyed making.

My son-in-law named the shop so it's a true family affair. So sit back and browse through the shop and I hope you find items that can fulfill your needs.
